Geoffrey H. Wood Foundation Respirology Unit
We’re one step closer to curing cystic fibrosis at the Geoffrey H. Wood Foundation Respirology Unit.
Canadians with cystic fibrosis (CF) are now living 20 years longer than they did when St. Michael’s first opened its respirology unit two decades ago. Today, we’re a global leader in CF treatment, research and training – and home to the largest adult clinic in North America. And with the new Geoffrey H. Wood Foundation Respirology Unit, we’re better armed than ever to treat life-diminishing respiratory disorders and lung conditions in a healing, high-tech environment.
“It’s all about how we help a person live a longer, better life,” says Dr. Elizabeth Tullis, Director of St. Michael’s Adult CF Clinic. “I’m hoping we can get one step closer to a cure.”
